Hey there,
I have a small Network with an APU.2D4 with installed pfsense 2.4.4โp3 and for WAN i use an Huawei ME909s-120 mPCIe LTE Modul.
My problem is, it use only ppp with a bandwith limit of 20โ25 mbit/s. So My Question is, is it planed to support QMI/MBIM for this Kind of Devices?

The best bet would be to get umb ported from OpenBSD to FreeBSD.
Adding it to pfSense would be relatively trivial at that point. Relatively.
There was a porting effort underway at one time but it died for some reason. I did clone the repo before it was nuked:
https://github.com/stephenw10/umb-freebsdIt was not far along.

Thx for moving :-)
But umb doesn't Support ipv6, and i would like too use it too, But for the first it sounds great with that

Ha, one thing at a time!
I'll take any sort of non-ppp connection I can get right now. Failed to get much (any) traction so far. Only so many hours in the day for people who can do this I guess.

@Daywalker91 said in PPP-Connection with QMI/MBIM:
QMI
I looked into QMI, it appears to be an issue with getting the QMI SDK kit from Qualcomm, i think it relates to the open source nature of BSD.
Telit LE910 doesn't use PPP appears like a USB ethernet device with a separate serial interface. You have to write your own connection script to get it to connect.
I have a post with the commands here:

Okay but at first i must change the config permanantly of my Modem
thats the output of usbconf
if i change the config manual from default (config 0) to config 1 i get an ethernet device but no usb ports for ppp etc
