A fellow New Zealander has come up with a great product which I think would be useful to many people and I would LOVE to have this kind of feature built into pfsense. It basically keeps track of the amount of data used per IP address in regards to an allocated user and global quota. Not sure if this product does but would be nice if you could also optionally have the user blocked, or connection throttled once their quota is used. I presume it just works on IP Addresses.

Any chance of something like this in pfsense? I imagine it would be reasonably easy as pfsense is looking at each packet at the mo anyway so wouldn't take much to add the packet size to a counter?

      Thoughts?

      Thanks
