      Hey there,
I'm trying to install pfSense on a Nexcom NSA5130-OS1.
      I'm using the pfSense-CE-memstick-2.4.4-RELEASE-p3-amd64.img, since I got the VGA-AddOn.

The installation just freezes when started normally, with this being the last output:

      ioapic0 <Version 2.0> irqs 0-23 on motherboard

When booting into safemode, I can install pfsense just like normal, but after rebooting the system afterwards it doesn't find a bootable media.
Any advice on how to probably get this up and running? Would be really cool since the specs are very neat and hey - it has a freakin LCD display. ;)

Can you try installing using the serial memstick and serial console?

I did, but I can't get any useful output from putty then - just random symbols.

Sounds like a mismatched terminal setting, probably the wrong baud rate.
            It's likely 115200 or 9600 but also try 38400 and 19200.

Does it boot further if you choose single user mode etc from the boot loader menu?

You are booting UEFI there, can you try installing and booting legacy instead?

I've tried disabling acpi in the bios and well - it seems to work now. Sometimes the solution is so easy you just don't think about it. Thank you for your help!
