I have pfSense running on an older work station for a couple of years basically acting as a proxy/web filter using Squidguard. I have all of my laptops pointing to it as a proxy and they can only access the white listed sites. One of the Nic's has started to fail so I decided to bring up a new pf instance on my hyper v host. It has two dedicated physical network connections associated with the VM. I backed up the config on the old system and restored it to the VM. It appears that all of the settings transferred over including the white list. I found out that it is not doing any filtering. It is allowing access to everything. Any suggestions on where to start looking are appreciated.
