      Hi

After upgrading to a newer snapshot yesterday my gateway is not working properly anymore. If i check the gateway status none is listed, If I manually add the gateway of my ISP I can get my pfSense
box to connect to the internet but none of my clients can access. I got 1 LAN and one Wifi interface setup for my internal clients. Everything was working perfectly before but since that upgrade I can't get it
to work anymore. I tried reverting back to the previous snapshot and also newer snapshots but nothing seems to help.

      Any ideas? Thanks in advance

OK, problem solved by reverting to even older snapshot (23/4) and restoring old config file. D

I am also experiencing an identical issue with fresh installs of:
          20090427-0600.iso
          20090427-1036.iso

I installed the update "Mon Apr 27 11:37:03 EDT 2009" with no changes in behavior.

0600 didn't recognize the dhcp gateway at all, had to manually add it and then it didn't route traffic (but I could download updates).  1036 installed and the gateway seemed to function out of the box, but again it wouldn't pass traffic from LAN->WAN.

I'm going to wipe and retry with 20090423-2101.iso, thanks for posting this (I thought it was just me)!

Just to confirm, the 20090423-2101.iso fresh install worked without issue.

Exactly the same build I'm running! It's strange though since I know for sure that I've succesfully upgraded to either 20090425 or 20090426 builds before and succeded.

I don't think it's an issue specific to updating – all of my installations have been fresh, save one update that I did off of the latest iso build to see if the update would resolve it.

Are these the FreeBSD 7.1 or 8 builds?

I haven't dared to update yet, still running April 23 build.

i just tried an 8 build, works fine, except the serial console (embedded kernel at least)  was 115200 instead of 9600. just somethign to be aware of if you get garbage at 9600.

Tried updating tonight to an 8 build. Now my Wifi seems borked, Dashboard status shows interface down - Autoselect.
