I'm having a little issue with DNS where all requests timeout for a short period and recover. I do not lose pings during this time.

All devices as well as the router cannot resolve.

The DNS resolver settings are untouched from install.

It happens so quickly it is hard to see what I might be able to do to fix it in the middle of an outage. The last instance was 8:37AM to 8:42AM this morning.

In an effort to find the culprit, I have sent all logs to a graylog server, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary. I also started using telegraf to check dns response times, and thats the only way I can tell the specific length of time for an outage.

What kind of things can I do to try and isolate the issue further?
