How may I connect a host on one subnet (192.168.3.0/24) to clients on another subnet (10.0.0.100/24)?

I would like to have the MQTT clients on my IOT interface (VLAN 2) (10.0.0.0/24) communicate with the MQTT Broker on a static IP of 192.168.3.100 on my LOCAL 192.168.3.0/24) interface.

I've tried to do this by creating a Virtual IP of 10.0.0.100 on the IOT interface and NAT forwarding 1883 between 10.0.0.100 <-> 192.168.3.100. My solution is more complicated that necessary; however, I'm using this scenario to learn more about networking and obviously I have something wrong.

Thank you for your time and attention.
