I have esxi hosted pfsense 2.4.4, it works fine however when wan connectivity is not available, it takes forever to load the welcome screen.. one way is to disable the wan, but that isn't any good solution.

      Any ideas?

      Regards

Yeah, of it's never connected to the internet you can just disable the things that it checks on the dashboard.

If there is sometimes connectivity though and you need those things to refresh there isn't really a good solution. Yet.

Nothing has changed in that regard in 2.5 as far as I know. Not yet at least.
