How to change SSID of router
-
I wanted to change the SSID of my D-link router. So I entered the IP address 192.168.254.254 to do that. But the IP address couldn't be load after trying many times. I checked that there was no mistake in entering the IP and the IP address was default. What should I do now?

More info please?
Is this router being used as an access point behind another router? If so are you accessing it via its LAN ports or via wireless?
How sure are you that you have the address correct?
Most default addresses are 192.168.1.1 on Dlinks from what I remember.

This is almost certainly spam. I removed the spam link from the first post.

Enter your router's IP address into your favorite web browser. Log in as the administrator. Go to settings and look for an option titled WiFi name or SSID. Enter your new WiFi name.
