I am planning if part come in dropping my usg and installing pfsense next week. I am also thinking of giving my parents my usg and a AP I have kicking around and dropping the isp gear.

The only thing I would like is to give them access to my home via site to site vpn, or to my main NAS unit. Got to figure that one out. [spam]

Is this possible? thinking some sort of openvpn setup. Both sites do not have [more spam]

No idea about the USG, but if it is able to run OpenVPN in general you should be fine.
You need at least one site with a routable public IP which will be your OpenVPN server listening for the incoming OpenVPN client connection.
With DynDNS you can work around the dynamic IP "problem".

The USG appears to have a number of VPN options including OpenVPN so I would not expect any problem doing that.

The only issue might be the DynDNS setup and whether you can use an FQDN rather than an IP as the server but it seems unlikely that would not be allowed.
