      Hi!

I am on the following version:

      Version 2.4.3-RELEASE (amd64)
built on Mon Mar 26 18:02:04 CDT 2018
      FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p7

But cannot install packages (such as OpenVPN), but as soon as I upgrade to 2.4.4 in order to install packages the WAN interface stops working. It fails to obtain a DHCP address. Sometimes it shows it is up but still does not connect my box to the Internet.

Is there a work-around to this or any advice will be highly appreciated.
If I can add here that I did try to make the WAN int. static and gave it an IP, but that did not work either, unless I am failing to correctly do it.

      Please help! Thank you

Incorrect gateway (changed during upgrade)? https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/install/upgrade-guide.html#upgrading-from-versions-older-than-pfsense-2-4-4

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
