      Hello,

When I connect my playstation with Ethernet and let it configure via DHCP, its getting the IP information just fine. When I run the PS network test, it fails on the download test and I get a DNS error. The upload test is doing just fine.
All my other devices have no problem what so ever with their internet connection.

My DNS server settings are set to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 in System/General Setup. The DNS resolver is forwarding to the upstream server and is using SSL/TLS for outgoing queries.

Now when I manually set the DNS on my Playstaton to 1.1.1.1 everything is working just fine. When I disable the SSL/TLS option for outgoing queries in the DNS resolver, and reconfigure the PS4 , everything is working fine too. When I change to System/General DNS server to 8.8.8.8, and keep the SSL/TLS setting set, everything is also working just fine.

So I have narrowed it down to this:

The PS4 is the only device in my network that has problems with DNS over TLS from Cloudflare, all other devices work fine. And it is just the download that is failing, upload is working.

Has anyone got a clue what is going on?

      Thanks
