nm_txsync_prologue errors in log
-
Hi all!
I upgraded last night to 2.4.5 and it went without a hitch. Bu i just noticed messages in the log like this one:
349.773121 [1663] nm_txsync_prologue igb0 TX3: fail 'head > kring->rtail && head < kring->rhead' h 1013 c 1013 t 1012 rh 1014 rc 1014 rt 1012 hc 1014 ht 1012
So far i didnt notice any issues or dropouts. igb0 is a intel I210-T1 NIC and its assigned as wan. Should i worry about these?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Some light googling suggests that might be from Netmap. Are you using Suricata in inline mode, perhaps?
If you aren't noticing any problems passing traffic then it may not be much to worry about, but do keep an eye on it.

Yep, i use suricata in inline mode(i have a few public game servers). Didnt noticed any dropouts or issues, and after a while those messages stopped so IDK. Maybe it was a temporary hickup or something.
