    Problem after upgrade to pfsense 2.4.5-RELEASE

      after upgrading to 2.4.5-RELEASE the add button does not appear in System / User Manager / Users and if you try to modify any user the message appears
      "Insufficient privileges to make the requested change (read only)."

        Your user or group has "Deny Config Write" in its privilege list. Remove it.

            Go to the console and edit it out of the configuration. Or take a backup, edit it out, then restore the backup.

                  Use the physical console or ssh to do it. There are instructions around for editing the configuration.
