      Hello all, hope you all are well and safe !

      Need help to validate how to restore my router settings.

      1. Got 2.4.5 on USB stick using Rufus, on Windows I see like two drive letters: EFISYS with one dir ‘efi’ and PFSENSE with license.txt and readme.txt. - is that correct ?

      2. Recovered configure.xml from the router /cf/conf/config.xml and copied it to EFISYS under ‘config’ dir

      3. My router is not well accessible, so will need to replace it by a temp router, disconnect and boot it off USB

      4. Expect that during clean install I will have an option to restore old config.xml

      What am I missing? Thanks in advance

          @ptt Thx!

          I saw that, but on purpose listed my steps to make sure that I got it correctly

          Do you see any disagreements with your url ?

          PS: I wish it had more details and with pics :)

            What about one of those dozens of videos that show how to install pfSense ?
            Apply the old fashioned way : look at the video and take notes.
            List up the maltreat you need, like a spare switcjh, serial or console cable, hdmi cable, keyboard, screen, etc.
            Check that your usb key is bootable.

            No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
            Edit : and where are the logs ??

              1 - I'll go with "etcher" (just search te forum)

              2 - You need 2 USB drives (Read that link/doc again)

              Good Luck
