      This probably seems like an obvious answer but, if I create an alias that is 9000:9001 and I create a port forward that is from and to that alias will 9000 forward to 9000 and 9001 forward to 9001. Or could I possibly get 9000 forwarding to 9001?

        Exactly. There will be no cross-forwarding.
