      Hello,

Apologies if this is in the wrong category I was not sure which was the best one to post in - Please feel free to move if required.

I have a FQDN setup for a VoIP server, firewall and NAT rules all set up as required.

When connected to a mobile network or another internet connection, all is fine - the connection is established within seconds and all is well.

When connected to the pfSense network/firewall directly it does not connect via the FQDN at all (local Internal IP works fine).

Probably a quick solution here and something I have missed.

What am I doing wrong here? Can I have this so it’s using FQDN all the time without the need of having to setup two profiles for Internal / External use?

Appreciate any assistance that can be given here.

      David

        Resolved it!

I just needed to add the Internal DNS into the 'Host Overrides' of the DNS Resolver section.

        Cheers,
        David
