      Hello I hope I'm in the right place.

      I liked the idea of running my own router after I saw a youtuber talking about pfsense. Bought a mini-pc and a fiber optic to rj45 converter. All the LED lights on the converter are switched on including the fiber signal LED, except the fiber's data LED is switched off.

      I don't know how to setup the ONT authentication. I called my ISP support and they are clueless. I attached some screens from the ISP router maybe the details can help. The router model is Huawei HG8245Q.

      This may be interesting for some of you but I've been pecking at it for the past few days without progress. I appreciate any help I can get.
