Freeswitch email not sending
freeswitch package 0.8.7.5
When I receive a voicemail I'm expecting an email but not receiving it. I have double-checked my email settings in the settings tab and the username and smtp host is correct and auth is correctly disabled.
I have also tried manually sending an email by hitting 4 after listening to a message. The voice prompt indicates that an email has been sent, but I do not receive it. I can 'telnet smtp.telus.net 25" and I get the connect message, so I think the problem must be local.
How can I go about troubleshooting this? Does the email attempt get logged by freeswitch?
Worked together on this over IRC I believe the solution was to specify the port.
Actually, specifying the port didn't help. I switched to gmail's smtp server and it's working fine now. Good ol' Telus.
