I have a Netgate SG-1000 router running the latest stable version of Pfsense (2.4.5-RELEASE). The interfaces are showing the connection at 1000BaseT.

The pfsense is connected via Wan to a Virgin Media Hub 3 Modem. My internet speed is 500mbps and connected via ethernet to the modem gives me around 500mbps.

However, I am getting 94mbps connected via ethernet directly to the LAN port of the PFsense.

The PFsense router is connected directly to the hub 3 modem.

I do not have any special configuration and I using mostly the default settings. I do not have VPNs or IPsecs configured and cable are not the issue.

Below is an output of the status of the interfaces.

The SG-1000 was a lower powered device, I would expect to see ~130Mbps through it in a typical install.

So 94Mbps seems low but you will never see anywhere near 500Mbps.
