You should be able to get it from GitHub.

            Sorry I wasn't aware.

You could download pfSense-CE-2.4.4-RELEASE-p3-amd64.iso.gz from any other source. Just ensure to cross-check the hash at https://files.pfsense.org/hashes/

            Hope it helps.

The problem is that you cannot install packages, at least using the automated package web installer..

This is very strange ... to download the program not on the developer's site.

Netgate offers only the latest version.
New version come out because, amongst others, previous ones have some security issues.
Now it happens to be that a firewall router is everything about security first ....
So, please understand that Netgate could not offer thee versions any more.

                    But :
Nothings stops you from keeping an older version, that you downloaded earlier.
It's even advisable if you want to be able to step back for whatever reason.

I'm not expressing myself for Netgate here, I just say what I think is logic.

Contact Netgate support and request a link to 2.4.4-p3. They were providing this earlier when folks were having issues with 2.4.5 and were wanting to downgrade back to 2.4.4-p3. I don't know if they are still doing that or not, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Providing the iso is one thing. Providing the rest of the packages that might be needed is another.
And there are still issues with 2.4.5. Honestly, at least previous version should be available, including packages for sometime.

That is taken care of also, install the ISO for 2.4.4-p3, then select: System | Update | Update System from top of screen and then select Branch (Previous Stable version 2.4.4 Deprecated) to get the packages for 2.4.4.
