Home network, around 30 leases at any given time so exhaustion is not the issue. Running the latest PFSense on an MBT-4220 (Great little box).

Perhaps once every week or two a device that has not been connected for a bit is powered on (various OS devices so isn’t specific to a type) and they cannot get an IP address.

I finally figured out that it was the DHCP server because if I disable and re-enable (restart the dhcp server effectively) everything works perfectly fine.

Any hints on how to troubleshoot? I did look at logs but nothing at least to me looks troubling. I guess I could just schedule some dhcp server restart to work around this but would rather figure it out.

      Thanks!
