I'm trying to re-utilize an old PC for Pfsense and running into a snag when booting from disc for install.

      Spec of PC here: https://www.cnet.com/products/gateway-gt5648e-mt-athlon-64-x2-6000-plus-3-ghz-3-gb-320-gb/

I boot off he disc and get "can't load 'kernel'". I've run Ubuntu and XUbubtu on this machine without issue recently.

Here is an image of what I get.

If I type "Help" I don't get much information.

I've using 2 ISO burning software (windows version and ImgBurn) with the same results. I updated BIOS to the latest version as well.

      Could this be hardware limitations?

Thank you for any help you can give me. If hardware is too old I'll have to go another route.

I was able to install Pfsense via a laptop onto the hard drive and install the hard drive back in to the host computer and it worked. I used the same media on both devices, not sure what would have caused this issue.
