      Hi!

Just coming up to 50 days uptime with first pfSense build. I’m new to it but I can follow a YouTube video. LawrenceSystems has been invaluable. pfBlockerNG works wonders.

I’m after a bit of advice as I start to study up on installing a point to point link between my property and in-laws 8km away. Using the air software from Ubiquiti and being on a hill. The install looks feasible and I am comfortable with that bit.

Both properties have their own internet. The in-laws with the ISP supplied router/modem and mine with pfSense firewall router.

I essentially want the PtP to be network only to act as PtP access to my Plex server as my upload speed is next to none. I don’t want to use their internet or them use mine. Just be a dedicated route to appear as loca to their network.

Is there a step by step guide on how to interface/bridge/vpn the two individual networks using pfSense?

I have a managed switch on my network if that helps.

      Any advice would be appreciated.
