      Hi everyone. I installed pfsense new build 2.4.5 with the UEFI BIOS on VMWare ESXi. but if I start the machine with the connected NICs it restarts. what do you have to do?

        what driver for the nic? vmxnet3? did you try another driver for the network card?
        did you try without uefi ?

          the interfaces are E1000e (aka intel board I think).
          without UEFI I don't leave.
          i have both an old pfsense intaller that is in BIOS with the E1000e and it works for me.
          and strangely I miss update does it. it gives me error in the search: Unable to check for updates
