      Hello all:

I'm a new, small ISP attempting to use pfsense as my customer-facing router. So far, things are working fairly well. I have a pair of routers running BGP with my 10Gbps feed. I have a couple of IPv4 blocks, and an IPv6 /32. I've created my vlan interfaces and configured CARP on all of my interfaces and did some basic testing. The only area I'm having issues with is CARP failover on IPv6.

I've created an IPv6 VIF and selected that in RA (or I can just have them both put out their RA). What I'm really struggling with is DHCPV6-Server failover. It appears that unlike the v4, the v6 daemon does not have direct support for CARP. I have to leave it disabled on my backup.

I cannot use stateless, as I am serving PD ranges to my customers. So that state needs to be maintained between the two clusters, and if my main router is down for any reason, customers should still be able to start or renew a lease.

      How do I do this?

      Thanks!
