      Hi,

My pfsense is having a weird issue. While I use Cloudflare DNS servers under the General Settings and set the DNS resolver to forward all queries to those servers, everything works fine. As soon as I change from Cludflare to Google (8.8.8.8) or anything else there's no Internet and I can't resolve or ping anything.

My configuration is quite dynamic and I'm pretty sure I have no "hardcoded settings" that might interfere here.

I discovered this weird issue after noticing that the NTP servers couldn't be reached and Cloudflare wouldn't even resolve them (ping etc.) and instead would return their own time server(s) address, so I tried switching to Google's and encountered this new problem.

      Any idea?

      Thank you,

        Hi,

there are places where we use similar settings ...... purely CF (both DNS and time)
        without any problems ..
(and was preceded by google (8.8.8.8) - that was no problem either

can you send PRTSCs from your settings(?) ... (NTP, resolver, general setup, etc.)

        like these:
(of course it also sends these with 8.8.8.8, when it doesn't work)

Cats bury it so they can't see it!
(You know what I mean if you have a cat)
