Do we need to configure any special settings in pfsense to support HTTP/3?

Through it to the internet, or on its gui?

Well as HTTP/3 is still very new it would be good to know what scenarios need special settings configured for pfsense

Nothing for through it.. Out of the box any any is allowed outbound.. So unless you were blocking UDP for some reason, since http/3 uses quic..

Here I did a simple test, enabled it in my firefox 78.01 (its not on by default yet)... Then went to a site know using it, you can see what protocol used for different connections via the developers toolbox (F12)

Nothing needed to be done on pfsense for that to work..

So unless your doing something with IPS/IDS or running proxy, etc. There would be nothing needing to be done with pfsense to allow http/3 to be used through it.. Support for its web gui will come when underlying components support it..
