      Today I upgraded my pfSense instance from 2.4.5 to 2.4.5-p1. I have the Zabbix Proxy package installed. I had v4.2 installed. After upgrade, my Zabbix instance started complaining the proxy was offline. Looking at pfSense, I noticed under "Services" that the pfSense proxy was missing.

      Headed to the package installer, and noticed that it wasn't installed.

      Headed to available packages, and there are several there, 4.0 and 4.4, and 5.0, but 4.2 doesn't show available in the list. I assume that is because the package manager "thinks" its installed.

      Under installed packages, it's missing.

      I've tried to install 4.4, which will install, but it doesn't work with my 4.2 instance of Zabbix, so I've uninstalled that.

      Any idea how I can force a reinstall of 4.2 from the CLI, or how I bandaid this issue to get the 4.2 package installed again?

        Hi,

        I donโ€™t see the Zabbix Proxy version 4.2 you mentioned anywhere...

        You can view the installed packages with (ls -al /usr/local/pkg):

        this can also be useful:

        Please pay attention for the followings:

        ++++edit:
        is it possible that v4.2 came from an older installation? (2.3....etc.)

          So this is another one of my sites. It seems that the 4.2 agent/proxy has been removed from the package manager? Odd because all the others are there.

          Anyone able to speak to why the 4.2 agent/proxy has been removed from the package manager?
