Netgear AirCard 785S & pfSense
-
Hi, I have seen a few posts on this forum about people getting Netgear AirCards working with pfSense by enabling IP passthrough on the device and then plugging into pfSense. I have an Intel NUC running as router-on-a-stick and have plugged my 785S into one of the USB ports but when I run 'usbconfig' in pfSense, only the root hub and what I believe is the Intel WiFi card show up, not the Netgear.
[2.4.5-RELEASE][admin@pfSense]/root: usbconfig ugen0.1: <0x8086 XHCI root HUB> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=SUPER (5.0Gbps) pwr=SAVE (0mA) ugen0.2: <vendor 0x8087 product 0x0a2b> at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON (100mA)
Anyt thoughts?
Thanks.

Does it work on another device? What is the expected VID:PID?

Yeah that would have helped! Tested on a Win10 machine and can't get it to show in device manager there either. Maybe to have a look for a different device.
Thanks for the reply though.
