      Hi All,

I have a pfsense VM installed inside a network with a bunch of users behind it, and another firewall in front of it. What I would like to achieve is the ability to meter / limit the bandwidth the users consume as it passes through the pfsense firewall, and also map the internal ip addresses / mac addresses of the users to their username which is stored in our NAC (packetfence). This would allow for recognizable names in ntopng perhaps for real time top talkers functionality.

Luckily I do have a few support hours with packetfence, but I'm lost with where to begin on the pfsense side. Any hints would be great.

So far clients can get out to the internet just fine and I can monitor real-time traffic by their IP. Just trying to achieve the above integration.

      Thanks!
