      Hello,

Hoping everyone is safe and healthy.

Can I change NIC cards on an existing working system without having to totally reload ?

I know I would have to configure the new adapter.

      Has anyone successfully performed this?

      I am successfully running:
      2.4.5-RELEASE-p1 (amd64)
built on Tue Jun 02 17:51:17 EDT 2020
      FreeBSD 11.3-STABLE

      Thank you for your time.

Oh, I would be removing the LAN interface card (re0) for a NEW Intel I350-T4 card .

Yes, you can remap the ports via local console.
But as always, take a backup first.

I bought it off of eBay, sigh...
