fios help

In a little while I will be switching over to verizon fios. Fios requires you to use their router if you want to use their set top box. Normally, I use a tivo with a cablecard however they have a deal going on where the first stb is free. I want to stick with pfsense. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on an idea I had. I am considering bridging my wan connection between pfsense and the fios router and then cloning the mac address from the fios router onto pfsense. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.
