Modification of /usr/local/etc/rc.d/tftpd.sh What can go wrong?
-
Hello,
I added -c option to the tftpd start script to allow upload of cisco configs every time I commit write (otherwise tftp does not allow creation of new files). Now under what circumstances would the GUI overwrite this file that would silently break my uploads?
Thank you -
The configuration file in
/usr/local/etc/rc.d/tftpd.sh
is updated by the TFTP's package script in/usr/local/pkg/tftpd.inc
. Search for thewrite_rcfile
function, at line 147 at the time of this writing. Add whatever parameters you need to there, then save in the pfSense's Web interface the settings for the TFTP server to see the changes applied. After you save the TFTP server is restarted with the new configuration you've made. -
