I think you posted the wrong image? You would add an easy rule from listing of something blocked or allowed in the firewall log

Little + sign or - sign would be used to allow or block something via "easyrule"

You wouldn't do it from the console menu.

Easyrule for what? For sure not there to apply any rules!

Ah - if that is what he is after, then hit 8 and use the easyrule command

But to be honest since all the parameters have to be entered ;) its not all that "easy"

                  Hello!

Off topic, but as a noob I have discovered that pfsense is quite the playground for cli geeks.

Number 12 on the console menu (php + tools) has lots of cool options, including record & playback functionality, which includes some slick builtin scripts.

In /etc/ there are rc.* scripts than can be useful (or dangerous :)).

Some of the .inc modules in various places, like /etc/inc, can be included and called from your own scripts.

Easyrule itself is just a php script, and there are others in usr/local/bin

I am sure there is lots more...proceed at your own risk...
