Just a quick question on UPS Batteries
Good morning. I have a pair of APC RS BR800 UPSs that I bought several years ago on EBay (probably 2015 or 2016). The were in factory packaging, apparently old stock, salvage or discontinued, since the batteries had an install date of 2012. Around $100 for the pair. Can these batteries possibly still be good in 2020? They still have the original RBC32 cartridges, and APCUPSD seems to think everyone's fine. One just backs up a modem and switch and the other is on my main box at about 35% load and both have been in service since received. I tried to do a calibration on one but it aborted at ~80%. Bad sign? What think? Thanks for reading.

We usually use battery packs for 3 to 5 years, but it depends on manufacturer quality.
We even replace the qualified Fiamm units after 5 years
in turn - these are data center quality:
Yeah, if I was still in a datacenter with a support contract...
But those days are over. Thanks for the reply. Looks like they would be around $30US ea. over here x 4 for me.
