Not quite Multi-Wan but kinda

  • Hi Everyone,

Currently I have pfsense with a single wan and running multiple VLAN's and it is working great. I'm looking to test a separate router and I was hoping to have two routers. My ISP uses dhcp to issue addresses, so is it possible for pfsense to bridge a connection to the secondary router?

    Thanks!

  • Simply plug in the "secondary" router into a LAN port of your existing network. Could be directly on the pfsense box, then you'll need to fire up an additional interface. Or, it can even be on your LAN switch.

All you have to do is give the "secondary" router a different subnet than your pfsense LAN network.
