      I recently had an issue where the disk space on my pfsense router was consumed which resulted in cascading issues up to losing network connectivity. The underlying problem was fixed, but in trying to figure out how to avoid issues like this in the future, I started looking into the system alerting.

      I cannot find a list of everything pfsense will generate a system/email alert for, though free disk space doesn't seem to be one of the things anyhow as I never got an alert.

      A) is there a list somewhere of the various system alerts that exist?
      B) what is everyone else doing to proactively monitor/alert on issues like disk consumption,. excessive CPU usage, non-running services, etc.?
