      Please help with NUT package with pfsense (2.4.5-RELEASE-p1 (amd64)) on Supermicro motherboard-X11 Series (X11SAE-M).
      I Have a Trippllite AVRX750UD UPS, and I have been working for some days to configure it.

      ups.conf:
      [tripplite]
      driver=usbhid-ups
      port=auto
      vendorid = 09ae
      productid = 2010
      ignorelb
      override.battery.charge.low = 20
      override.battery.runtime.low = 600
      override.load.off.delay = 20
      override.load.on.delay = 10
      offdelay = 20
      ondelay = 10

      The problem is with shutdown on power low state, upsmon turn off the server in about 2 second, with no proper shutdown.

      I have managed to take a photo with muti-shot.

      Untitled-1.jpg

      If I run command "/sbin/shudown -p +0", everything work great.

      Please help to me to find out where I have missed something.

        That looks like a proper shutdown in that shot. Why do you think it isn't?

          Because when I shutdown from console or using SSH or from GUI PFsense , it takes more time, around 10 seconds. And on screen logging there are logs about stopping demons like squid lightsquid, squidguard and some like this.

            Does it boot up correctly afterwards?

            The UPS is not powering it off I assume? In which case I would not worry about it.

              @stephenw10 said in NUT shutdown the server in about 2 seconds:

              After the tests I did, I think it disconnected about 20 times as follows. I did not detect any irregularities after the start

              The UPS is not powering it off I assume?

              I even noticed that the server tries to start again after shutting down (I don't know what the cause is, Allways ON is set in the BIOS, ACPI enabled S4 + S5), but the UPS shuts down the load.

              In which case I would not worry about it.

              You think it's normal that the server doesn't shut down the daemons properly. I'm worried because it's going to go into the "production" phase.

              Thank you Steve.

                No, I don't think it's 'normal'. But it also doesn't seem to be causing a problem and I'm not really sure what you can do about it!
                It's more concerning that it appears to be rebooting and not halting though.

                  Thank you Steve

                  I will try to do some more tests, maybe talk to SuperMicro representatives
