I am having an issue with DNS Forwarder - Edit Host Override. I have an alias setup "email" to a single IP address "192.168." and when I type in the alias into the IP address, it states "a valid IP address must be specified" Is this a feature request to allow alias's to be used in the IP Address?

I hope the "address" you're using is more that what's shown. An IPv4 address has 4 octets, for a total of 32 bits.

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

@JKnott It does, I just wanted to "for instance" on what was in the alias, vs a 10.1. address or a 172.2 address or vs a "group" of addresses.

          Would 192.168.0.XXX be better etiquette?

Try with a single valid address and see if that works.

@JKnott It works with the single IP address, but I have the alias setup so that it points to the "web_server" through the firewall via the alias.

but when I try to use the same alias in the Forwarder
