      Hi forum
I have plenty of available disk space, and trying to expand my logs.
Files in /var/log all showing maximum size of 499.5KiB
This looks like default log file size of ~ 500Kib.
A while ago, in the GUI, Status, System Logs, Settings I set the following :
Log file size (Bytes) : 20000000
      That should be 20 MiB's.
How do I get the pfSense to recognise the expanded log file size ?
Does it need to reboot ?
TIA's for any tips or clues.

I'm not a complete idiot. There's still a few pieces missing.

I just found the answer in the blog pages.

"The new log size will not take effect until a log is cleared or reinitialized. This may be done individually from each log tab or it can be done for all logs using the [Trash-button] Reset Log Files button on this page. See Adjusting the Size of Log Files for more."
