IPSEC Problem 0.0.0.18/32 address
-
Hi,
i am trying to set up an ipsec with another company for a few services, they want that for security reasons...
on both sides we have public ip addresses that should get routed for special ports through the IPSEC gateways. on my side its a virtual pfsense.
so i set up a route on the public web server that provides that address pointing to the pfsense public WAN interface. the IPSEC tunnel also ends on the public WAN interface, so the pfsense should be aware.
On the other side i have 4 servers that need to go through the ipsec from their public IPs.
So i set up the IPSEC as VTI, then i have a IPSEC interface on the pfsense i can point the routes to. I made routes on the pfense for the 4 public IP addresses of the servers on the other side that point to the ipsec VTI interface.
Now... i somehow get SAs with a IP Address i dont know. 0.0.0.18/32....
I cannot find it with ifconfig -a or as sockets or as anything on my box, but also the other guy says its not on his checkpoint....i cleaned this log for the addresses because they are public
Edit: i really wanted to put in the log, but some akismet says it is spam, what is this madness?
i should be able to paste a log format of the software that is supposed to be supported!
