Running 2.4.5-p1.Doing a clean auto install of a single ip connection assigns a wan with a subnet of 23. Would like to know the probable reason 23 got assigned. Could this be an ips issue or might it be something else. I am spoofing a mac number from my old router to assign the same ip as was previously assigned.

If the WAN is setup as DHCP, as it is by default, and pulling a lease from your ISP directly the subnet mask is whatever they pass you.

/23 not uncommon for a public IP from isp..

What did you think you should have? /22 or even /21 not all that uncommon..
