    Hi Netgate Community,

Is it possible to set different bandwidth limits in different access points connected to Netgate? Please see the image below of our planned network setup.

    Network security diagram example.jpeg

We want to assign these bandwidth limits:
AP- Tiger connected in LAN1: 42MBps
AP- GTAGS connected in LAN2: 8MBps
AP - GUESTNET in LAN3: must have no internet connection but connected to a server instead.

    Thank you

Or look at the manual of the AP.
If you paid more then 10 # for it, changes are good you can 'limit' every connected device.

Or create a captive portal (+ FreeRadius), and give every user a bandwidth, quota, login time, etc.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Wouldn’t you be better having the 3 networks on each AP then limit the subnet using limiters ?

            Hi,

Each access point is assigned to different offices or departments. Per office, we want to limit their bandwidth as shown in the image.

Office 1 is for AP- Tiger
Office 2 is for AP- GTAGS
Office 3 is for AP- GuestNet

We are hoping to have things less work by limiting the bandwidth per access point instead of the users.

Just put limiters on each LAN interface.
