      Hi everybody,

I have a problem with one of my installations. I have a customer with a lot of diffrent companys at his house. So I created a pfsense with 34 vlans and I used 2 Unifi Edge switches (US-48-500W) and 33 UAP-nanoHD. Everything was working finde. But there are some problems with only some Apple devices like iPhone or Macbook. They don't get an IP from the DHCP server. Not every model. Is there anyone with problems like that? I know it could be a Unifiproblem but I have to start somewhere :). PCs, Android etc. everything is fine.

      Greetings

      Benedikt

tell them to "Turn private address off" for ios devices
check if you have enough free ip on the pool
        check dhcp logs
use packet capture for port 67 / 68 to see if requests are handled
afaik there isn't a "switch" on pfsense to make dhcp compatible or not with devices

There are some Problems with WPA Auth Timeout/Fail?
Update to the latest Controller an AP Firmware and Upgrade iOS Devices.
That works for me, but i use only 10 VLANs and 4 SSIDs with 3 APs.
