Hello! I am new to Pfsense and I am wondering if I get, say the 2100 (https://www.netgate.com/solutions/pfsense/netgate-2100.html) do I get the option to repurpose a LAN port as a second WAN port in the software? Is this the minimum HW config Id need in order to do that? I have another security appliance and would just be using this to give myself another WAN port and would be disabling all its firewall features. Just two WANs with a switch to toggle back and forth. Failover not needed. Thoughts?

Yes, you can configure one of the LAN ports as a separate interface using VLANs and use that as a second WAN.
It's possible to manually choose the default gateway to select between WANs. Hardly anyone would do that though. Policy routing or auto failover/load-balancing are common deployments.
