I do not understand Virtual IPs. In Smoothwall i simply added them as external aliases and they worked but i have no idea how to accomplish this with pfsense.

      What i have:

      Interface
      –-------
      201.193.176.xxx/30

      Additional IPs

201.193.176.xxx/29 which gives me 6 additional IPs.

How would i go about adding them to pfsense?

      Thanks

        Firewall, Virtual IPs…
Please search a bit next time, this question comes up pretty regularly and people are getting tired of repeating themselves.

As i stated at the beginning of the question, i do not understand what i'm supposed to do there because it's totally different to Smoothwall, i would have not posted just so somebody told me where the option was, i already knew that.

Is the only way i can test this thing to be working is forwarding it? As you can see, my additional ip's are on a different subnet so i would need to use Proxy ARP, correct? It did not work and the fact that it doesn't respond to icmp ping doesn't make matters easier.

          Thanks
