      Hello,

I recently picked up a Watchguard XTM 2 (21). I didn't have any cables nor instructions included. My questions with it are: where do I place it (I got a modem for my incoming connection and a router for wireless and wired distribution), what software do I need and what is a good power supply that isn't too expensive?

pfSense will not run on that. They use an Intel XScale CPU (arm).

There have been some efforts to get OpenWRT running on them, including one from me, but as far as I know none have been fully successful.

              Ha

With the original software load it would usually be placed between the modem and and wifi APs or switches you have. It is a firewall/router.
