      Hi,
      I am running pf 2.4.5-RELEASE-p1 (amd64) on hp server. The problem is high memory usage of unbound process ( DNS resolver).

      Any Idea?!

        @mr-pine :

        What is your total memory installed ? I can image that it uses a percentage of the free memory as a DNS cache. Which is actually a good thing.
        If not : goto the console (SSH), use option 4. That will normalize things right away.

        By any change : are you using 'the package' that permits the admin to explode memory usage of unbound ? If affirmation, consider asking the question to the admin ^^

        (as you can see in my image, I'm using that package, but I closely watched how much DNSBL-food I fed into unbound ...)

        No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
        Edit : and where are the logs ??
