      Is it possible to restore a DEV configuration onto the latest stable? I have new hardware that I would like to use the latest stable version of pfsense on instead of the dev builds, but have a fairly complex configuration that I would like to restore. Will that be a problem?

        2.5.0 is written with 2.4.5 in mind, so if a setting is new, or renamed, the changes are done while upgrading. New settings receive a default value.
        The other way around : not that I know of.

        Downgrading = manual.

        I recall @jimp saying somewhere : No. as the question was asked in the past.
